Safety Cited in Necessary, Controlled Burn for North Little Rock Park

 

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (February 12, 2013) – A prescribed burn in North Little Rock's Burns Park is needed to minimize the chance of a dangerous, unintended forest fire in the future.  This burn has been planned and recommended by the Arkansas Forestry Commission, Central Arkansas Master Naturalists, The Nature Conservancy and the North Little Rock Fire Department.
