NLRPR is teaming with Missoula Children's Theatre for a production during the summer of 2011.

Note: Audition and Rehearsal location and times are subject to change.

June 27 - Auditions at GVCC (10:00-12:00)
June 27 - Rehearsals at GVCC (12:30-2:30)
June 28 - Rehearsals at GVCC (10:00-2:30)
June 29 - Rehearsals at GVCC (10:00-2:30)
June 30 - Rehearsals at GVCC (10:00-2:30)
July 1 - Rehearsals at GVCC/NLRCC (10:00-5:30)
July 1 - Performance at NLRCC (6:00 pm)

Auditions for the Missoula Children's Theatre production of “King Arthur's Quest” will be held on June 27, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Glenview Community Center (4800 East 19th Street). There are roles for students entering 1st grade through 12th grade (2011-2012 school year). There is no guarantee that everyone who auditions will be cast in the play. Students wishing to audition must arrive by 15 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time and stay for the entire two-hour session. The first rehearsal begins approximately 30 minutes after the audition.

This is a group audition - no advance preparation is necessary, but a smile never hurts. Students should just be ready to come and have a good time!

Rehearsals will be conducted throughout the week from 10:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. (Although not all cast members are needed at every session, those auditioning must have a clear schedule for the entire week and if selected, be able to attend all rehearsals required for their role. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be distributed at the conclusion of the audition. Cast members scheduled for the full 4½ hours of rehearsal will be asked to bring a sack lunch or snack.)

The performance will be held on July 1, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. and will be presented at North Little Rock Community Center (Pershing and Willow Streets). Admission is $1 for adults, free for youth under the age of 18. The students in the cast will be called for dress rehearsal before the performance that day. All those cast must be available for all scheduled performances.

The Missoula Children's Theatre is a non-profit organization based in Missoula, Montana. A tour team arrives in a given town with a set, lights, costumes, props and make-up, everything it takes to put on a play...except the cast. The show is rehearsed throughout the week and one or two public performances are presented on Saturday. All MCT shows are original adaptations of classic children’s stories and fairytales . . . a twist on the classic stories that you know and love. This coming year more than 65,000 cast members across the globe will take to the stage to the delight and applause of their families, friends, community, neighbors and teachers!
